Continuous improvement is only possible with continuous training and education. We have weekly meetings both in the office and at the jobsite to train our employees and subcontractors on standard procedures, jobsite specific objectives and company systems and policies. We facilitate communication both internally, and externally, and encourage a sharing of information and experience.

Developing our employee's personal, professional and technical skills is paramount to our success, and theirs. We have developed a career path along with a list of recommended training courses for each position.

We have a comprehensive training program that is broken down into three categories,

  • Management - negotiation skills, presentation skills, high powered business writing, effective management / supervisory skills, conflict resolution, time management

  • Technical - surveying, structures, mechanical and electrical systems, process piping, clean rooms, excavations, waterproofing, hoisting, concrete techniques, constructability details, value engineering. Our Quality Manager partners with our subcontractors to develop a series of classes devoted to each of these topics.

  • Safety - fall protection, forklift training, hazardous materials, CPR / first aid, confined spaces, and as a supplement to our classroom / hands on training, online ClickSafety training
