BRIDGEVIEW, SAN FRANCISCO, CA

B ridgeview is a 26-story, high-density residential complex with 245 condominium units, a health club, spa, swimming pool, three levels of subterranean parking, retail space, and an observation deck with dramatic views of the San Francisco Bay. The concrete frame structure, with post-tensioned decks, was poured in place using flying forms and a concrete placing boom. Using this method, Webcor eliminated re-shoring and achieved a concrete pour cycle which significantly expedited the project. Webcor also recommended a change
to the exterior finish, from plaster to Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC), eliminating more than two months from the schedule. Webcor’s quality control and commissioning program helped achieve the acoustic goals for drywall partitions, and the use of PDAs with Webcor’s centralized data network streamlined the punch-list management process.
