Webcor is currently participating in the following entities:
Webcor/Obayashi Joint Venture is a joint venture between Webcor Builders and Obayashi Corp. The joint venture is the CM/GC for Phase I of the San Francisco Transbay Transit Center. The $1.589 billion project includes the construction of a new five-story transit center building with one above-grade bus level, ground-floor, concourse, and two below-grade rail levels serving Caltrain and the future California High Speed Rail. It will also include a 5.4 acre rooftop park. The scope of work includes construction of new bus ramps that will connect the transit center to a new off-site bus storage facility and the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
Watts Webcor Obayashi A JV is a joint venture between Watts Constructors, Webcor Builders and Obayashi Corp. The joint venture is the general contractor for the Guam Naval Hospital Replacement Project awarded by NAVFAC Pacific. The $158 million hospital is expected to be completed in 2014, coinciding with the relocation of 8,000 Marines and their family members from Okinawa, Japan.
Guam MACC Builders is a joint venture between Watts Constructors, Obayashi Corp., Healy Tibbitts Builders and Webcor Builders. The joint venture is one of seven entities chosen by the military for a $4 billion design-build, multiple-award construction contract on Guam. The joint venture will compete with the six other parties to bid on military construction projects on Guam and other areas under the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific, over a five-year period.
Guam MACC Builders has been selected as the general contractor for the firm-fixed-price task order #0002 for Apra Harbor Wharf improvements at Naval Base, Guam. The $85,999,000 project provides for wharf improvements, and utilities to allow cold iron berthing for “extended” transient ships including the Amphibious Readiness Group and its combatant escort ships. Work will be performed in Apra Harbor, Guam, and is expected to be completed by August 2013.
Webcor and R.A. Burch Joint Venture is a joint venture between Webcor Builders and R.A. Burch Construction. The joint venture is the design-build contractor for the 41 Area Facilities Program at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton awarded by NAVFAC Southwest. The $124 million project calls for the design and construction of multiple operational and community facilities for the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion and 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, as well as a 200-room bachelor enlisted quarters. The scope also includes a battalion headquarters, armory, fitness center, single marine center, post office, fire station and a parking structure.
Watts/Webcor A JV is a joint venture between Watts Constructors and Webcor Builders. The joint venture is the general contractor for the Satellite Earth Terminal Station Facility at Camp Roberts California, awarded by The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The $34 million project is expected to be completed in 2013.
The Webcor/Obayashi/Lyles joint venture consists of Webcor Builders, Obayashi Corporation, and W.M. Lyles Co. The joint venture is currently under contract to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power to build the Silver Lake Reservoir Complex Storage Replacement Project, a 7-year, $230 million underground reservoir and hydroelectric project. Webcor is also in a separate joint venture with Lyles Mechanical to construct San Jose State University’s Campus Village Piping Replacement Project, Phase 3, a fast-track effort to replace and upgrade the domestic hot water system at an on-campus housing complex.
