Agile Software helps companies drive profits, accelerate innovation, collaborate with partners, and leverage intellectual property. In the summer of 2003, Webcor built-out Agile’s new company headquarters in San Jose, where they relocated from multiple floors of office space in a down-town high rise.
The Agile build-out required a fast-track, three-month construction schedule to complete the 88,000 sq ft of office space within two floors of an existing building. A large portion of the scope was MEPS, which included a full telecom system, the addition of HVAC units, full electrical upgrades, fire alarm system modifications, and a fire protection system, including a pre-action system in the server room. This project also included an audio-visual package including plasma screens, ceiling-mounted projectors, satellite dish connections, and conference tables with built-in microphones and other AV features. In preparation for Agile’s expansion into adjacent buildings, their server room was one of the largest in Silicon Valley for the company’s size.
