Impax Laboratories is the leader in the development and manufacture of specialty prescription pharmaceutical products using formulation expertise and unique drug delivery technologies. To meet new product demand, Impax required an Operational and FDAvalidated cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in less than 12 months. Our technical skills, attention to detail, and quality construction earned Webcor ICG this design build project – and our understanding of the company’s operational needs enabled us to complete the construction and validation 5 weeks ahead of schedule.

The project consisted of a base building structural upgrade along with the installation of new upgraded MEP systems to support a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. We completed the interior construction of this “cold” shell building by installing advanced air filtration and dust particulate control systems, an extensive Clean Dry Air (CDA) configuration system, process piping, high purity water systems, and new electrical and grounding systems.
