eBay Building 17 is a 5-story, 196,000 sq ft structural steel and concrete high-tech office building located on the eBay North campus in San Jose. The state-of-the-art facility will house approximately 800 employees of eBay’s PayPal division. Webcor handled the construction of the building’s core and shell as well as the tenant improvement work including an employee café, a gymnasium, and all employee office and meeting space. Although construction was well underway when the goal of LEED certification was raised from Silver to Gold, Webcor used its award-winning expertise in green building to achieve a LEED Gold rating. |
