Known for its world-class academics and Nobel Prize-winning faculty, the University of California at Berkeley needed a centralized, mission-critical computing facility to support its ongoing operations and research. Webcor’s Interior Construction division helped the University develop its new, high-availability Central Computing Facility within an occupied four-story building that had been recently seismically upgraded. Through its technical expertise, Webcor successfully installed the extensive, 10,000 sq ft data center including a centralized, uninterrupted power source, emergency power generators, modular electrical and HVAC systems, and sophisticated security systems. |
