Oracle Building H and Garage is a 181,000 square-foot core-and-shell construction project called for site improvements, a four-level post-tensioned concrete parking garage, a primary power electrical system, and a five-story steel frame office building with full interior build-out including a fitness center, café, and server room on the ground floor.
Webcor pursued an aggressive schedule and completed the work in just 16 months, and construction and site logistics allowed the parking garage to accommodate employees while Webcor built the accompanying office structure. Building Information Modeling proved essential to coordinate the extensive MEPS systems and avoid potentially costly changes.
- Carbon foot-print and life-cycle analysis services were utilized to measure the environmental impact of the building
- Sustainable design features included roofing materials with high solar reflectance indexes, refrigerants which minimize ozone-depleting emissions, and low-mercury lighting fixtures.
