Rosen Family Student Center, at Robert Louis Stevenson School, is a 32,000 square foot, two-story, multi-purpose facility and the central meeting place for campus activities. Interior features of the building include exposed wood trusses, 20’ high glass window-walls, vaulted ceilings and a massive 30’ handcrafted stone fireplace. Our skilled craftsmen milled raw materials and built the intricate moldings and custom wood louvers on-site, an example of some of our highest-quality carpentry. Exterior finishes are comprised of custom blended clay tile roofing with “black” patina copper accents, a stone base and exotic Pau Lope wood siding. Surrounding the Center is a curved stone amphitheater accommodating up to 1,500 guests.
Webcor’s experience building educational facilities in conjunction with our high safety standards enabled us to construct the Center while the school remained fully operational. Orchestrating site logistics strategically was paramount in minimizing disruption to the school and the adjacent up-scale residential neighborhood. LEED Project
