One Webcor Shines in Exterior Repairs
Webcor Concrete Group (WCG) has completed its scope of work on the Exterior Repairs project, which involved repairing concrete cracks and spalls on the exterior ledges of two towers, HSE and HSW.
"WCG is 100 percent finished, well ahead of schedule," Yasser reports. "This is particularly impressive given that their scope nearly tripled from what was originally bid."
The expansion occurred after removing asbestos-containing waterproofing, which revealed significantly more cracks and spalls than initially identified in the Design-Bid-Build plans. Despite this substantial additional work, WCG rose to the challenge.
Yasser commends the team's efforts: "I'd like to recognize David Bischoff, Silvano Romo, and the rest of the WCG team for their outstanding work. They managed to staff the job effectively and complete it not just on time, but significantly ahead of schedule."
Yasser says this success story exemplifies the "One Webcor" approach, demonstrating the company's ability to adapt and excel even when faced with unexpected scope expansions.
