About Webcor Wellness
At Webcor, we make our employees’ health a priority – offering a robust wellness program that encourages Webcorians to lead happier and healthier lives. A major component of Webcor’s program utilizes the Limeade system, an interactive online tool that allows users to identify their needs, create and track goals, and participate in health-related challenges with co‐workers and family members. Employees can be awarded up to two wellness holidays for tracking your wellness activities, in addition to the ten holidays we already observe during the calendar year.
We sponsor many events that promote healthy lifestyles including the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk, Best Buddies Challenge, Surfaid’s MSA Classic, and Bike to Work Day. Our executive leadership frequently participate in these events alongside our employees.
However, wellness is not just limited to health and fitness. At Webcor, wellness also includes taking care of our community. We offer 1% of our profits, resources, and time back to the community. This means that every employee can use 20 hours a year as paid time off to volunteer at a community based organization of their choosing.
“Prioritizing the health of our employees aligns with our strategic goal of enhancing the employee experience, and in turn, achieving our Strategic Plan,” explains Senior Vice President of HR Mei Lin Wolff. “We are committed to providing our employees and their families with the tools and resources that support health and well-being.”
“We hope to expand Webcor’s wellness program in the future to engage more employees to join in our journey of health,” says Benefits Manager Richard Takahashi. “Together we are building wellness at Webcor.”
