SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF., Jan. 11, 2018 – Webcor has promoted Mei Lin Wolff to senior vice president of human resources. Wolff previously served as vice president of human resources since joining the general and specialty contractor in 2015. In this elevated position, she also joins the Executive Committee where she will play an even greater strategic role leading the company’s efforts to establish the best employee experience in the industry.
Webcor’s employee headcount has grown by 70 percent in three years under Wolff’s leadership, as she has successfully enhanced the role of the Human Resources Department by enriching the company’s employer brand and making Webcor an employer of choice.

Prior to Webcor, Wolff was the senior human resources business partner at NFP, an international insurance brokerage and consulting firm. In her time at Webcor, Wolff has spearheaded several programs to promote it’s inclusive and transparent employee culture and to support its growth. These include shifting from an annual review process to ongoing performance management, launching a strategic internal communications initiative, building a Learning & Development Committee to deliver training programs aligned with employee career paths and strategic objectives, boosting Webcor’s benefit programs to provide greater 401k matching and paid family bonding leave, and instituting a philanthropy program for employees to take time off to volunteer in the community.

Active in her industry, Wolff is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), as well as the organization’s strategic arm (HR People + Strategy) and its local Bay Area affiliate (HR Strategy Forum). She also participates on subcommittees for both the Bay Area Council and CPEG, an industry group for HR executives, where she is using her expertise to work on increasing the talent pipeline for the industry. Wolff earned her BA in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her MS in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University of California.
