The Terminal 3 West Modernization at SFO is one of United Airlines' most significant facility investments on the West Coast — and before the headline work can happen, the operational infrastructure has to be in place. Webcor is delivering Phase 3 of that enabling work: approximately 29,500 SF of critical airline support spaces designed by Woods Bagot and engineered by Meyers+ and FCI Engineering.

The scope spans multiple locations within the terminal and includes the Station Operations Center, emergency response and technology infrastructure spaces, executive and operations offices, breakrooms, ticketing and baggage service offices, and post-security support facilities. Each space serves a distinct operational function, and all of them need to come online without disrupting the airline and passenger activity happening around them.

Delivered through a Progressive Design-Build approach, the project runs concurrently with adjacent construction programs — requiring continuous coordination with United Airlines, SFO, and neighboring project teams to keep the terminal moving while the work gets done.
