Menlo Gateway Phase II located in Menlo Park, CA is a ground-up, Type I concrete and steel commercial office project. The square footage is distributed throughout four structures with seven and eight levels above grade. Parking totals 495,060 square feet and 1,480 stalls. A prominent social media firm leases all three structures and the parking structures.
Three pedestrian bridges connect the structure to the adjacent MPK 22 building. To provide a high level of service to employees, the structure was designed to accommodate a flexible valet program that can be tailored to fit the tenant’s evolving needs. As part of a campus-wide initiative, the structure will offer convenient access to the campus’s bus and bicycle service.
The garage will incorporate a 1-MW solar array on the roof and provide over 80 EV charging stations. Employees will access the structure via a card reader at the entrance, and dynamic signage at each level will provide real time parking availability and help guide them to an open space.
The two commercial office buildings feature large collaborative workspaces and include green initiatives that promote efficient use of air, water and lighting.
Webcor self-performed concrete, doors, frames and finish hardware on the project.
Construction is what we do best - it’s no surprise that we live and breathe every aspect of construction.
